Drilling / Threading

Drilling and threading is one of our most common used metal processes since the foundation in 1980 to (sub)-assemble products and components. Drilling, same as milling, is a cutting process that uses a drill bit to cut a hole in metal, steal, high strenght steal, aluminium or stainless  steal. The drill bit  is pressed against the workpiece and rotates at rates from hundreds up to even thousands rotations per minute.

We can drill holes up to 50 millimeters, bigger holes can be created on our CNC milling machines. Our milling machines are equipped with several drill tools to drill larger and more advanced holes. The milling machines can quickly drill multiple holes with the highest accuracy. SMI Verspaning offers a wide range of processes to fit the requirements and needs of the final product.
